How does the test work?
IgG antibodies are produced in the most amount in a single day. This is one of the most important as it is the body’s first line of antibodies for defense against viruses and bacteria. Testing for IgG against specific foods may be raised when the antibodies lining of the intestinal tract, or the mucous membrane become inflamed or damaged. Elevated IgG to specific foods can be a sign of damage to the mucous membranes in the gut.
